Project scope: In 2018, the idea of “furthering prosperity” inspired the Chandler Foundation to launch a refreshed website, alongside a new annual magazine Social Investor. They learned through experiences that much more than charity is needed to solve many of the intractable problems we see in the world today. Social Investor was conceived to try to take things one step further by asking: beyond the practice of philanthropy, what are the different ways we can drive social impact?

Social Investor was published in 2019, bringing together high level philanthropists and academic leaders to share stories on social impact.

Milestone from project: The first issue in 2019, was recognised by the White House in the USA, who invited members of the business to present and talk about the magazine and its success. The 2023 issue won gold in the category of nonprofit publications from the American Business Awards.
